Terror threat baseless — police

POLICE are asking the public not to believe on text messages claiming there will be a terrorist attack during the Sinulog celebration.

Chief Insp. Romeo Santander, chief of the City Intelligence Branch of the Cebu City police, assured that there is no reason to worry as the police are on top of the situation.

Santander said the threat is baseless.

As this developed, police yesterday arrested four persons believed to be members of budol-budol gang.
