10 nabbed for violating curfew in Albay town

LEGAZPI CITY –– Police arrested 10 persons roaming several villages in Polangui, Albay on Friday night, in violation of the enhanced community quarantine curfew.

A police report on Saturday said that while police were patrolling the villages of Alnay, Basud, and Mendez around 10 p.m., they caught several persons loitering despite the curfew.

The curfew in Polangui remains at 8 p.m. to 5 a.m.

In Alnay, police arrested Sammy Banares, 24, resident of Barangay Pinagdapugan; Sammy Refareal, 47, Erwin Ollet, 24, and Jesus Rosaldo, 27, all residents of Alnay.

In Basud, police arrested Ednor Banzales, 29, Arjay Aldera, 24, both residents of Alnay; Edgardo Renolla Jr., 35, of Barangay Centro Occidental; and Jaime Alcala, 33, of Barangay Magurang.

In Mendez, arrested were residents Elmer Binos, 36, and Joseph Mariscotes, 20.
