OVP opens 10th dorm for frontline workers in Paco, Manila
MANILA, Philippines – The Office of the Vice President (OVP) has opened its 10th dormitory which will cater to frontline workers in Paco, Manila.
According to a Facebook post by Vice President Leni Robredo on Monday, the newest dormitory will be lying near the Philippine General Hospital (PGH), the Manila Doctors Hospital, and the ManilaMed – Medical Center Manila of the Emilio Aguinaldo College.
“Madadagdagan pa ng isa ang mga dorms natin para sa mga frontliners na nagtatrabaho sa Maynila, bilang tugon sa patuloy na pangangailangan na naipaparating sa atin,” Robredo said.
Robredo said that the 10th dormitory was opened with The Lica Group. She said that same procedures apply to the newest dormitory — that it would be open to healthcare workers, medical practitioners, and other frontliners who need to be near their place of work.
Interested frontliners can send their personal information, including their full name, contact details, home address, emergency contact, and the hospital or establishment they work for by e-mailing [email protected] or by texting OVP’s contact number (0998 591 7408).
“Dahil limitado ang ating espasyo, alinsunod na rin po sa social distancing measures, first come, first served basis po ang pag-accommodate sa mga request,” Robredo said.
