MANILA, Philippines — The presidential yacht, the BRP Ang Pangulo (ACS-25), has been converted into a floating hospital for COVID-19 patients.

Naval public affairs office acting director Lt. Cmdr. Maria Christina Roxas said the presidential ship can accommodate 28 patients and five medical personnel.

“Officers and enlisted personnel aboard ACS-25 spearheaded the transformation of the VIP compartments of the ship into COVID-19 dedicated medical ward and patient rooms,” Roxas said.
