City of Manila COVID-19 watch: 221 cases, 428 PUIs, death toll at 30
MANILA, Philippines — The city of Manila now has 221 confirmed coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) cases and a death toll of 30 as of Sunday afternoon.
Sixty-five new cases were reported and recorded since April 4, 2020, the city government added,
Sampaloc district has the most number of cases in the city with 63, followed by Tondo 2 with 26 cases.
The city government also recorded 30 fatalities and 17 recoveries.
Meanwhile, there are 428 persons under investigation (PUIs) for COVID-19 in the city.
One hundred seven of them are from Sampaloc and 63 are from Tondo 1.
