Did You Know: Health, social work sector has 178,905 employees

According to the final results of the 2016 Annual Survey of the Philippine Business and Industry recently released by the Philippine Statistics Authority, there were 178,905 total employees in the human health and social work activities sector.

The top industries in terms of total employment were private general hospital activities (70.6 percent), private medical activities (12.3 percent), and private medical, dental and other health activities (6.4 percent).
