WWII unexploded bomb found in Albay town

LEGAZPI CITY –– A 90-mm projectile AP Bomb was uncovered on Wednesday afternoon by police explosive ordnance (EOD) personnel in Daraga town Albay province, a belated police report said Thursday.

Recovered was unexploded explosive ordnance (UXO) at Barangay Kiwalo around 3:30 p.m., the report said.

The World War II projectile was first found and reported to the police by villagers at around 6:30 p.m on Tuesday.
The responding EOD technicians immediately extracted the bomb and safely brought it to the police Camp General Simeon Ola in this city for proper disposition.
