LEGAZPI CITY — Daet, Camarines Norte is implementing a three-day market schedule for barangays (villages) to avoid big crowds and observe social distancing as a precautionary measure to prevent the spread of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19).
Mayor Benito Ochoa, in his Facebook post announced that residents of the Barangays 1 to 8, Alawihao, Awitan, Bagasbas, Borabod and Bibirao would only be allowed to buy goods every Monday, Wednesday and Friday.
Residents of the remaining 12 villages would be allowed to go to market every Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday.
Market hours would be from 7 a.m. to 10 a.m. and 2 p.m. to 5 p.m. effective Monday (March 23), he said.
Only one member of a family would be allowed in the market using the home quarantine pass.
Ochoa added that non-residents are scheduled from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., provided that they have a health quarantine pass issued by barangay officials.
