Did You Know: Other service activities sector has 11,907 firms, 80,331 workers

According to the final results of the 2016 Annual Survey of the Philippine Business and Industry recently released by the Philippine Statistics Authority, there were 11,907 establishments and 80,331 employees in the other service activities sector.

This sector includes activities of membership organizations, repair of computers and personal and household goods, and a variety of personal service activities.

The top industries in terms of the number of establishments were beauty parlor activities (30.7 percent), washing and dry cleaning of textile and fur products (15.3 percent), and funeral and related activities (13.3 percent).
