CITY OF MALOLOS–An elderly Filipino from United Kingdom who returned home to Bulacan has died, making him the province’s first COVID-19 fatality, according to local health officials on Wednesday (March 18).

The man had attended a birthday party in the town of San Ildefonso last week and was later tested positive for the disease after showing symptoms, the Bulacan provincial health office said. He died in a hospital in Metro Manila.
