Ex-drug convict falls in Quezon buy-bust

LUCENA CITY –– About P325,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth) was seized from a former drug convict in Candelaria, Quezon on Wednesday afternoon.

Anti-illegal drug operatives collared Charles Alexander Andal after he sold shabu to a police agent in Barangay Malabanban Norte around 1 p.m., Colonel Audie Madrideo, Quezon police chief, said in a report.

Police tagged the suspect as a notorious drug pusher. He was once imprisoned on drug charges but was released on a plea bargaining agreement with the court.
