Confirmed Bulacan COVID-19 patients now 4
CITY OF MALOLOS—The number of patients infected with the novel coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) in Bulacan province has risen to four as of Monday (Mar. 16), according to the Bulacan Provincial Health Office (PHO).
The first new case, dubbed Patient 113, is a 31-year-old woman from Malolos who is confined at the St. Luke’s Medical Hospital in Taguig City. The other case, identified as Patient 116, is a 70-year-old woman from Guiguinto town who is being treated in Quezon City.
The first two recorded cases were a 58-year-old woman, called Patient No. 21, and a 33-year-old man, dubbed Patient No. 99, who are from the City of San Jose del Monte. They are confined at the Dr. Jose Reyes Rodriguez Hospital in Caloocan City.
The Bulacan Provincial Health Office has initiated contact tracing for people with whom the patients have interacted, said Dr. Jocelyn Gomez, Bulacan PHO head.
