The Metro Manila community quarantine is in effect starting today, March 15 until April 14 as a measure to contain the spread of the contagious COVID-19.
For the next 30 days, residents in the National Capital Region (NCR) must limit their activities to only those considered “essential,” such as reporting to work or buying necessities like food and medicine.
Mass gatherings are also being limited, including fiestas and graduations. Religious organizations in the metro have turned to live-streaming services in accordance with the quarantine.
