LUCENA CITY –– Two street-level “shabu” (crystal meth) pushers were arrested in separate buy-bust operations here on Friday night, police said Saturday.
Lieutenant Colonel Romulo Albacea, Lucena police chief, said in a report that joint police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency operatives collared tricycle driver Guillermo Silang Jr. after he sold shabu to a police agent in a drug deal in Barangay Market View around 8 p.m.
Authorities confiscated 17 plastic sachets of shabu (crystal meth) with an estimated Dangerous Drugs Board value of P154,632. Meth is being sold here at P6,800 per gram.
