Tricycle driver held for shabu peddling in Quezon
LUCENA CITY –– A tricycle driver who was allegedly peddling “shabu” (crystal meth) was arrested in a buy-bust operation in Calauag town in Quezon province early Thursday.
Danilo Datu was nabbed after he sold a plastic sachet of meth in a drug deal in Barangay Sumulong Maria about 1:45 a.m., Calauag police said in a report.
The suspect yielded three sachets of shabu worth P2,300.
Local police said the suspect, who is in the drug watch list, is a notorious shabu peddler in the village and nearby areas.
