MANILA, Philippines – It appears that Supreme Court Associate Justice Marvic Leonen is giving a “two for one” tip-preventive measure against coronavirus or COVID-19 and a possible answer to a 2020 Bar examination question come November.

Leonen said to recite the Lawyer’s Oath while washing hands instead of singing the Birthday Song twice would be better.

“Wash your hands with soap and water while reciting with feelings the Lawyer’s Oath. Not only do you prevent COVID-19 and other pathogens from spreading, but you also review the oath of your profession,” he tweeted.

Aside from the hashtag Covid19, he also used BarTip and BestBarEver 2020 as hashtags.

The magistrate also reminded the public to stay calm, show compassion for others.

“Panic may cause more deaths than COVID-19,” he said.
