LUCENA CITY – Three suspected pushers were arrested in a buy-bust operation here and yielded at least P77,000 worth of shabu, or crystal meth, according to police.

Police and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) operatives arrested Jason Vasquez, Mark Anthony Mendoza and Ronnel Caraan after they sold meth to an undercover agent at the village of Mayao Crossing past 3 p.m., Lt. Col. Romulo Albacea, city police chief, said in a report.

Seized from the three suspects, reportedly new in the local drug trade, were 19 sachets of meth and one digital weighing scale.

The suspects would be charged with violating the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.
