Magnitude 4.1 quake shakes Leyte, Biliran, Eastern Samar
TACLOBAN CITY –– A magnitude 4.1 earthquake shook several parts of Leyte, Biliran, and Eastern Samar on Tuesday, March 3.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology said the tremor struck at 2:51 p.m. seven kilometers northwest of Leyte town in Leyte.
No damage and aftershocks were expected.
The earthquake was felt in Naval, Biliran, and Ormoc City, Leyte at Intensity 4; Palo in Leyte and Borongan City, Eastern Samar province at Intensity 3.
It was also felt in this city and the towns of Tanauan, Barugo, Palo, Jaro, Tolosa, Dagami, San Miguel, Dulag, and Babatngon, all in Leyte.

On Monday, a 5.4 magnitude quake damaged some schools in Capoocan in Leyte and Biliran in Biliran.
