TACLOBAN CITY—Two persons, who had been among those in Eastern Visayas being watched for COVID-19, tested negative for the virus on Sunday (Feb. 23) and discharged from the hospital.
John Paul Roca, information officer of the Department of Health in Eastern Visayas, said the two female patients, aged 42 and 43, were from Southern Leyte and Samar province .
Both had a travel history to Hong Kong, which has several confirmed cases of COVID-19.
Roca earlier reported that 16 persons who had been observed for COVID-10 signs were all tested negative for the virus and discharged from hospitals.
