Despite the footage not showing the fireman getting off the roof with the animal, the department stated that the rescue was a success.

Following the incident, some netizens have made light of the situation.

“Stinker went exploring [laughing emoji] glad he’s safely off the roof!” one Kat Dee said.

Meanwhile, another person expressed her gratitude for the firefighter’s actions.

“Thanks for taking the time to help an animal in need,” a certain Carrie Maul stated.

The department did not state how the animal had managed to get on the roof in the first place. JB
