Parañaque City neighborhood fire leaves P1M damage
MANILA, Philippines — The fire that swept through a neighborhood in Parañaque City on Tuesday left at least P1 million in damaged property, the Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.
In its report, the BFP said the fire swept through Purok 5 in Barangay San Isidro and burned down 50 houses. Some 110 families have been left homeless.
The BFP also reported that at least one person was injured in the fire.
The fire reached the fifth alarm at 9:47 a.m. Responding firefighters extinguished the fire at 11 a.m.
