LUCENA CITY –– An 81-year-old father hacked his son-in-law to save his daughter in San Andres town in Quezon province on Monday.
A report from the San Andres police, said Urbano Musico, a farmer, saw his drunk son-in-law Sonny Pepito threaten his wife with a bladed weapon in Barangay Mangero at 4:15 p.m.
Musico immediately got a bolo and hacked Pepito to save his daughter from harm.
Pepito suffered hack wounds in different parts of his body and was rushed to the municipal health center for medical treatment.
Police arrested Musico, who is now detained at the police jail.
