Minor earthquakes were felt in Southern Leyte province on Tuesday morning, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The first jolt had an epicenter in Silago town at 9:19 a.m.
The tremor had a magnitude of 3.
At 9:25 a.m., another quake was reported, this time, in Sogod town with a magnitude of 3.
Both earth movements were of tectonic in origin.
The Phivolcs said they didn’t expect any damage or aftershocks in the two earthquakes./lzb
