Patient from Zambales being probed for nCoV

OLONGAPO CITY –– A patient in Zambales province is under investigation while eight others are under monitoring for the novel coronavirus (nCoV), data from the Department of Health in Central Luzon showed.

As of 6. a.m. on Friday, the number of patients under investigation (PUIs) in the region has reached 30, with Pampanga province recording 10; Tarlac, eight; Bataan, five; Bulacan, four; and Nueva Ecija, two.

The persons under monitoring (PUMs) for the disease rose to 96 with Tarlac recording 35; Pampanga, 21; Bulacan, 10, Aurora, nine; Nueva Ecija, nine; and Bataan, four.

Thirteen patients from Bataan, Bulacan, Pampanga, and Tarlac had already tested negative for nCoV, the DOH said./lzb
