Former Quezon City Rep. Nanette Daza has been acquitted of her graft and technical malversation charges in connection with the fertilizer fund scam.
In a 39-page decision, the Sandiganbayan Second Division acquitted Daza and her coaccused agriculture officials, including Regional Executive Director Dennis Araullo and Regional Field Unit IV members Juvylee Obice, Raymundo Braganza, Grover Dino, Dory Iranzo, Abelardo Bragas, Felix Ramos, Ofelia Montilla, Gregorio Sangalang and Balagtas Torres; and private individual, and LCV Design and Fabrication president Remus Villanueva. —Patricia Denise M.
