Bohol has 4 persons isolated for nCoV
TAGBILARAN CITY, Bohol –– The number of persons admitted to a Bohol hospital for symptoms similar to those of the new coronavirus (nCoV) had risen to four on Thursday, Feb. 6.
Dr. Cesar Tomas Lopez, spokesperson of the anti-nCov technical working group (TWG) of the Bohol provincial government, said the patients include two Americans, a 31-year-old Chinese national, and a Boholana nurse.
Lopez said they manifested symptoms of the coronavirus.
The patients were isolated now in a Bohol hospital. Swab samples were taken and submitted to the Research Institute for Tropical Medicine for testing.
Lopez assured the public that authorities in Bohol are closely monitoring all airports and seaports in response to the coronavirus outbreak.
