Man nabbed for illegal firearms in Sorsogon
LEGAZPI CITY –– Police arrested a 25-year-old man for illegal firearms in Casiguran town in Sorsogon on Wednesday.
Captain Marmay Fartingca, chief of Casiguran police, said Jomar Gabiana of Barangay San Juan was arrested inside a videoke bar at 12:20 a.m.
Fartingca said while conducting the “Oplan Bakal, Sita,” a waitress, informed the authorities that the suspect hid his sling bag in the bar’s kitchen.

Recovered inside the bag were a caliber 38 revolver and 11 live ammunition.
He will be charged for violation of the Comprehensive Firearms and Ammunition Regulation Act.
