MANILA, Philippines — About a kilo of suspected crystal meth or “shabu” with an estimated street value of P6.8 million was seized from two suspected drug suspects during a buy-bust operation in Rosario, Cavite, on Wednesday.

Police arrested Paula Noah, 39; and Dolores Santos, 44 — who are both listed in the watchlist of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) — during a buy-bust operation in Brgy. Tejeros, Rosario, Cavite, on Monday, Jan. 15.

The suspects were brought to the Rosario Police Station and the seized shabu was sent to the Cavite Crime Laboratory for analysis.

Charges of violation of Republic Act No. 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 will be filed against the suspects, police said.
