‘Shabu’ worth P4.3M seized in Cavite

SAN PEDRO CITY –– The police recovered P4.3 million worth of suspected shabu (crystal meth) in a buy-bust operation in Bacoor City, Cavite early Tuesday.

Cavite police chief Col. Marlon Santos, in a text message, said the operation resulted in the arrest of Aisa Juiamalo, a police “high-value target” for illegal drugs.

Also arrested were Juiamalo’s companions, Bainot Saidali and Nasser Makalpal.

Santos said members of the city police and the intelligence unit carried out the operation in Barangay Molino 4 around 2:45 a.m.

Police found 19 sachets or 635 grams of shabu worth P4,318,000.

Santos believed the arrest of Juiamalo would impact, if not put a stop, to the illegal drug sale in Bacoor City.
