LUCENA CITY –– A suspected “shabu” (crystal meth) peddler long being complained by concerned citizens was finally arrested in Infanta town in Quezon province on Monday, police said.

The Infanta police said anti-illegal drugs operatives arrested Enrique Magdaraog, 37, after he reportedly sold shabu to an undercover police officer in a buy-bust operation in Barangay Poblacion Bantilan around 9:45 a.m.

Authorities seized from the suspect four plastic sachets of shabu weighing five grams worth P35,000 in the street market at P7,000 per gram./lzb
