CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan – Two drug suspects were killed while 20 others, including a rape suspect, were arrested in separate police operations in the province since Thursday.

Police Col. Emma Libunao, Bulacan police director, said Richard Delara, alias “Tuklaw,” was killed at dawn on Friday in Barangay Pandayan, the City of Meycauayan after he resisted arrest and fired at responding policemen who shot back.

On Thursday evening, police also gunned down another drug suspect identified as Ace Gonzales, who reportedly fired on authorities during a buy-bust operation in Barangay Bitungol, Norzagaray town.

Police recovered nine plastic sachets of “shabu” (crystal meth) and two .38-caliber revolvers during the operations.

The two-day anti-criminality drive in the province also led to the arrest of a rape suspect and 19 other people, most of them allegedly involved in the drug trade./lzb
