MANILA, Philippines — The remains of the other Filipina worker who died in a car crash in Singapore over the weekend arrived in Manila early Friday, the Department of Foreign Affairs (DFA) said.

In a statement, the DFA said the remains of Abigail Danao Leste were received by her mother and children at the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (NAIA).

Leste’s remains will be immediately brought to Tuguegarao, Cagayan where her wake will be held.

The DFA said it will provide financial assistance to Leste’s children.

Leste was among the two who were killed when a car lost control and crashed into a group of Filipinos in Singapore’s Lucky Plaza mall, which is a popular shopping spot among OFWs. Four others were left injured.

The remains of Arlyn Nucos, the other Filipino fatality, were the first to arrive in the Philippines.

Her remains were received by her siblings at the Clark International Airport in Pampanga early Thursday.
