Writer, book author Sylvia Mayuga dies

MANILA, Philippines – Writer, book author, and editor Sylvia Mayuga died on Tuesday, December 31, friends and relatives said on social media.

Mayuga’s friends and notable writers in both the media and fiction writing industry including Lualhati Bautista, Joel Pablo Salud, Nonoy Espina, and Inday Espina Varona confirmed the former’s death.

She was 77.
