No-fly zone in Quiapo on Black Nazarene procession — NCRPO

MANILA, Philippines — The National Capital Region Police Office (NCRPO) will implement a no-fly zone policy to tighten security during the Black Nazarene Thanksgiving Procession at Quiapo Church on Monday.

“Please be informed that No Fly Zone will be enforced on December 30, 2019 during the Thanksgiving Procession for the Feast of Black Nazarene at Quiapo Church, Manila,” read the statement.


The Manila Police District’s traffic unit previously released road closures and traffic scheme to avoid traffic congestion during the procession.

The year-end Thanksgiving Parade is the first day of the nine-day novena to the Black Nazarene, according to the official website of the Minor Basilica of the Black Nazarene.
