Teenage boy injured after being hit by stray bullet in Caloocan

MANILA, Philippines — A 14-year-old boy was confined at a hospital after he was hit by a stray bullet fired at a house in Caloocan City on Saturday afternoon.

In a report from Caloocan City police on Sunday, suspect John Renz Francisco, 27, accidentally shot the gun he was cleaning inside a house along Barangay 120 at 12:30 noon.

The stray bullet struck the minor, who was watching television on a higher floor of the house.

Nearby residents then rushed the minor to the Caloocan City Medical Center.
