MANILA, Philippines – Two domestic flights have been canceled by the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) on Sunday, December 29, due to bad weather at the point of destination.

MIAA said in its flight advisory as of 1:00 p.m. that one Skyjet Manila-Camiguin-Manila flight, designated as M8 511/512; and another Cebgo roundtrip flight from Manila to Basco in Batanes and then Manila were canceled for the meantime.

All these flights were set to take off from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport (Naia) Terminal 4, which serves domestic flights.

Earlier, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said extreme Northern Luzon will experience scattered rain showers and isolated thunderstorms caused by the tail-end of a cold front.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
