WATCH: The Maguindanao massacre verdict

The triumph of justice over abuse of political authority and warlordism was magnified many times over on December 19 when the Maguindanao massacre case verdict was laid down. The Quezon City Regional Trial Court has found Datu Andal Ampatuan Jr., a former Maguindanao town mayor, his siblings and several others guilty for the murder of 57 people. The nation celebrated.
