Bus with 53 passengers catches fire in Samar town; no one hurt

SAN JORGE, Samar – A bus bound for Manila caught fire here around 1 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19.

Capt. Michael Ray Cañete, San Jorge chief of police, said no one was hurt.


He said at 53 passengers were on board the bus when it suddenly caught fire.

The local fire bureau is still conducting an investigation to identify the cause of the blaze.
