LUCENA CITY –– A pedestrian died after a speeding truck hit him in Lopez town in Quezon province early Wednesday.
A report from the Lopez police, said Angelito Lopez, 46, a resident of Barangay Sabang 2 in the said town, was crossing the Maharlika Highway when a Manila-bound truck being driven by Joselito Balitian hit him in Barangay Bebito around 12:30 a.m.
The victim suffered grave injuries and died on the spot.
