MANILA, Philippines — What’s taking her so long?
Malacañang said this Monday to Vice President Leni Robredo after she deferred publicizing her drug war report.

“What’s taking her so long? As the President said, ‘Bring it on, whatever you want to come out with,’” presidential spokesperson Salvador Panelo said in a Palace briefing.
“Mahirap kasi pag wala ka naman talagang ilalabas at nag-iisip ka pa kung ano ang ilalabas mo, eh talagang matagal,” he added.
(It’s really difficult if you have nothing to release and you’re still thinking of what to release. Then it will really take time.)
Robredo, who had a short stint as co-chair of the administration’s Inter-Agency Committee on Anti-Illegal Drugs before she was fired by President Rodrigo Duterte, earlier said she would release her own drug war report.
The vice president originally deferred releasing her drug war report because of the country’s hosting of the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games.
“Earlier, sinasabi niya na, ‘Natatakot ba kayo kung ano iyong mga matutuklasan ko.’ And then sabi niya, ‘Ilalabas ko kung ano ang mga natuklasan ko.’ Ang gulo niya,” Panelo said.
(Earlier, she said, “Are you afraid of what I will discover?” And then she said, “I will release my findings.” She is confusing.)
