MANILA, Philippines — More than 1,000 examinees passed the November 2019 Philippine National Police Academy College Admission Test (PNPACAT), the country’s police academy announced on Saturday.

In a statement, PNPA director Maj. Gen. Jose Chiquito Malayo said 1,314 out of 17,482 examinees passed the test held on Nov. 10 in 31 testing centers nationwide.

The admission test is the first phase of the screening process for applicants to the police academy. After passing the PNPACAT, applicants to the PNPA still need to pass a neuro-psychiatric examination, a medical and dental examination, a physical fitness test and a panel interview.
