MRT-3 bares train schedule for the holidays

MANILA, Philippines — The Metro Rail Transit Line 3 (MRT-3) released on Friday its holiday season train schedule.

In a Facebook post, the MRT-3 announced its train services schedule from Dec. 16, 2019, to Jan. 3, 2020, which is as follows:

Dec. 16 to Dec. 19, Dec. 20, Dec. 26 and 27

-First train from North Ave. station will leave at 4:40 a.m. while the last train will depart 9:10 p.m.

-First train from Taft Ave. station will leave at 5:41 a.m. while the last train will leave at 10:11 p.m.

Dec. 21, 22, 28, 29, and 30

-First train from North Ave. station will leave at 4:40 a.m. while the last train will depart at 9:10 p.m.

-First train from Taft Ave. station will depart at 5:37 a.m. while the last train will leave at 10:11 p.m.

Dec. 24 and 31

-First train from North Ave. station will depart at 4:40 a.m. while the last train will be 7:45 p.m.

-First train from Taft Ave. station will leave at 5:37 a.m. while the last train will leave at 8:42 p.m.

Dec. 25 and Jan. 1

-First trip from North Ave. station will leave at 6:30 a.m. while the last trip will be at 9:10 p.m.

-First train from Taft Ave. station will depart at 6:30 a.m. while the last trip will be at 10:11 p.m.

Jan. 2 and 3

-First trip from the North Ave. station will commence at 4:40 a.m. while the last trip will leave at 9:10 p.m.

-The first train will leave at 5:41 a.m. while the last train will depart at 10:11 p.m.

Last October, the MRT-3 said it will not be extending operating hours during the Christmas season to make way for the replacement of rails and other rehabilitation activities.

The MRT-3 usually extends its operating hours during the busy Christmas season to accommodate more passengers. #
