MANILA, Philippines — Several domestic flights were canceled on Friday due to inclement weather in some parts of the country.
In an advisory, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) said the following flights have been canceled as of 9:30 a.m.:

5J 197 Cauayan City-Manila
CebGo
DG 6009 Manila-Basco
DG 6010 Basco-Manila
DG 6151 Manila Basco
DG 6152 Basco-Manila
The state weather bureau said that Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to the northeast monsoon or “amihan,” easterlies and localized thunderstorms.
Extreme Northern Luzon will experience strong northeast winds and rough (2.8 to 4.5 meters) coastal waters, Pagasa said.
The rest of Luzon will have a similar wind direction but moderate to strong speed and moderate to rough (1.2 to 2.8 meters) coastal waters.
Meanwhile, Visayas and Mindanao will have light to moderate east to northeast winds and slight to moderate (0.6 to 2.1 meters) coastal waters.
