MANILA, Philippines — Partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rain showers due to the northeast monsoon or “amihan,” easterlies and localized thunderstorms will prevail in Metro Manila and the rest of the country, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said.

The weather bureau warned of possible flash floods and landslides in rain-affected areas.

Pagasa said extreme Northern Luzon will experience strong northeast winds and rough (2.8 to 4.5 meters) coastal waters.
