MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon or “amihan” will continue to bring cloudy skies and light rains over Luzon areas on Sunday, state weather bureau reported.
In a 4 a.m. live weather advisory, weather specialist Meno Mendoza said cloudy skies with light rainfall is expected over Cagayan Valley, Cordillera Administrative Region and Ilocos Region.
For Northern Luzon, the state weather bureau recorded a maximum temperature of 26.7°C and minimum temperature of 20.6°C.
Mendoza also noted that Metro Manila and the rest of Luzon will experience light rains due to the amihan season.
The weather specialist also said Visayas, Palawan, and Occidental Mindoro will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain due to strong winds of the amihan.
The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) expects that no low pressure area or weather disturbance will affect the Philippine area of responsibility for the next three days.
