MANILA, Philippines — Fire struck a building that was once a hotel in Manila on Thursday morning, Bureau of Fire Protection (BFP) said.
A report from BFP-National Capital Region Public Information Office said the fire broke out at the former Grand Boulevard Hotel near Plaza Rajah Sulayman and was raised to first alarm at 9:25 a.m.
The fire was fully extinguished after one hour.
Investigators are still trying to determine the cause of the blaze.
