TAGBILARAN CITY –– Boat trips in Bohol have resumed after the Philippine Coast Guard (PCG)-Central Visayas lifted the sea travel ban imposed due to Typhoon “Tisoy.”

The PCG said trips at the ports in Bohol were allowed to operate at 8 a.m. on Tuesday, December 3.

Many passengers were earlier stranded as Tisoy triggered rough seas in the region.

OceanJet announced that their trips from Bohol to Cebu and Larena, Siquijor resumed as of 11:46 a.m. Tuesday.

Boat trips from Ubay, Bohol to Bato and Hilongos in Leyte were still suspended as Leyte was under Storm Signal No. 1.

Bohol was placed under Storm Signal No. 1 on Monday night, but it was lifted on Tuesday morning along with Metro Cebu, and Negros Oriental.
