DAGUPAN CITY –– The Bureau of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources (BFAR) declared the coastal waters off Sual town in Pangasinan province free of red tide toxins.
The bureau’s December 2 shellfish bulletin showed that the shellfish samples collected from the waters off the town tested negative of paralytic shellfish poison, making these safe for consumption.
Since October, red tide toxins have been detected in Sual and other coastal areas in the province. Yolanda Sotelo
