Frankie Pangilinan frowns at Duterte’s claim of Kiko, Sharon feud
MANILA, Philippines — Frankie Pangilinan, the daughter of opposition Sen. Francis Pangilinan and Megastar Sharon Cuneta on Sunday lashed out at President Rodrigo Duterte over his comments on the supposed marital feud between her parents.
Frankie, who is now studying in New York City, posted a series of tweets starting with a comment on a news article on Duterte’s claim that Sharon wanted her husband out of their home.
“Hala. But pa siya alam,” the couple’s eldest child together tweeted.

“Imagine making yourself dinner in your tiny apartment and tucking yourself into bed with a warm blanket only to get a notification informing you your parents are arguing daw (apparently arguing). It’s not either of your parents, it’s not your sister, not the dog. It’s rodi,” she further said.

Speaking in an event to commemorate the Bonifacio Day on Saturday, Duterte claimed Sharon wanted to kick the senator out of their home. He even threatened to resign if it could be proven that he was lying.
“Pinapaalis na nga ng asawa niya sa bahay niya, ayaw kay wala ibang matirahan. Totoo. Tanungin mo. At kung sabihin mo nagsisinungaling ako, I will resign. Ang sinasabi ko totoo ‘yan,” the President said.
[His wife wants him out of their home. It’s true. Ask him. If I am lying, I will resign. I am saying it’s true,” he said.

Frankie then took a swipe at this latest threat of the President to step down from office.

She then posted a photo of her parents smiling together, which she had requested to be taken by her sister Miel.
“In conclusion, it’s 4:50 a.m here in New York City. I’m exhausted and have plenty of homework. But if you come for my family, I’ll come for u,” said Frankie, before posting another tweet bearing the same photo with the caption “protect them at all costs.”

Last year, Sharon admitted during her birthday celebration in ASAP that her marriage to the senator almost ended in 2017, following rumors that their relationship has been on the rocks.
“To Kiko, thank you. We’ve been through so much. We almost lost each other last year,” the Megastar earlier said.
