Teacher nabbed for selling drugs to students

CEBU CITY –– A public school teacher, who was allegedly selling illegal drugs to his students, was arrested in a buy-bust operation on Friday in Dalaguete town, southern Cebu.

Roy Ysao, 40, was collared past 9 a.m. after selling a pack of shabu worth P1,000 to an undercover policeman outside the school in Dalaguete.

Seized from Ysao, a senior high school teacher, were five small sachets.

The Dalaguete police said Ysao had been under surveillance for several weeks after they received a report that the teacher was selling drugs to students. /lzb
